Sep 24, 2024 – Denise F. Santa Clarita, CAWOW! Yudicela is awesome! I had been working with another paralegal for over a year who could not get one note cleared and literally kept making excuses. I sent everything to Yudicela just 6 days before our 4th court date and she got everything but 3 cleared which just need more information from us. Will only be using her from now on!

Jun 8, 2024 – Vern T. Los Angeles, CA  “udy helped me with Document retrieval. She grasped quickly the extremely the complex situation I’m facing. Once she had located the documents online and printed them, she interviewed me about what I was looking for. Pulling out her yellow highlighter she located the relevant bits for me. All in all, in about an hour, sitting in a spacious, second floor office with a beautiful view of mountains in the distance I took an initial step to confront a real estate tangle I’ve been dreading confronting for years. Judy’s professional competence and counseling was beautifully complimented by her supportive human presence during my visit.

Feb 24, 2021 — Tonya G. La Crescenta-Montrose, CA I’ve been trying to change my name (divorced and want to go back to my maiden name) since August 2020. I received the court order from the courthouse where I filed my divorce papers relatively quickly. As soon as I got the court document, I sent my application to the Burbank social security office — my application to social security is dated 9/22/20. It has been a ‘comedy of errors’ since. I didn’t send them what they needed in order to issue my new social security card – but things are a bit confusing with Covid, the office being closed, etc. I finally got them everything they needed, and then crickets for a very long time. Then I received my self addressed stamped envelope with only my passport card in it. Ummm, ok… A week or two later, I got a social security card with my current/married name. Then another rejection letter because I had allegedly not included my court order approving my name change. But I actually did send it, and their office lost it for TWO MONTHS! On 2/22/21, I got another letter rejecting my application, with my court order, telling me it was rejected b/c I didn’t provide an ‘original’ copy of my court order. Ok, but that’s what the courthouse sent me!

Now it’s 2/24/21, and I have to start from square one. There really aren’t words to articulate how livid I am. To the point that any further ‘missteps’ in this process is seriously going to cause me to blow a gasket. Rather than trying the same approach and expecting different results (definition of insanity, right?!), I decided to hire a paralegal to do the paperwork for me.

I found Judy, Reliable Document Services, here on Yelp. I sent her an email explaining what I was looking for through a form on her website. I’m always suspicious about whether or not anyone really gets these emails and if I will get a response, but I did it anyway. She responded to me within an hour! Not only that, but she voluntarily explained to me via email what I needed to do to get this done — this DIDN’T involve hiring and paying her. She explained that I needed to schedule an appointment at the courthouse, and go pay to get a ‘certified’ copy of the court document. Oooooohhhhhh — I had NO idea that the document I got from the courts approving my name change wasn’t an ‘original.’ Why would I? Why wouldn’t the courts have sent me an original??? And the proper terminology is ‘certified’ by the way. Why couldn’t Social Security have told me I needed a ‘certified’ copy in the first place? Judy gave me suggestions for the best times to call the Family Law Clerk’s office, too! I managed to get an appointment this afternoon, spent about 10 minutes in the clerk’s office, and was on my merry way — yayyy! Judy also gave me some great advice on how to deal with a paid online subscription that I didn’t realize I had signed up for – all such helpful information, and it truly restored my sanity, as I’ve been incensed since a few days ago when I got the latest rejection letter.

I want to thank Judy from the bottom of my heart, and when I do need her services, I will definitely use her! I recommend you do the same!!!
